Central Vacuum

It's a healthy way of life: No bags or filters means no dust or vacuum odors. Just plug the hose into the nearest inlet, and you're on your way to a cleaner home. Dirt is swept through a network of tubing and deposited into the transparent, removable dirt canister. It's easy to see when it needs emptied. Fine dust particles and exhaust odors are vented outdoors.
VACUFLO® Explained
VACUFLO® features Cyclonic Filtration Technology® (CFT™), a unique dual filtration process that utilizes cyclonic separation for primary filtration and either an outdoor exhaust (True Cyclonic® units) or pleated filter (Filtered Cyclonic™ units) for secondary filtration. CFT creates a powerful centrifugal force that separates the dirt and debris from the airflow. As the dirt spins around, the air pressure forces it through the cyclonic cone and deposits 96-98% of all the vacuumed dirt into an easy-to-empty canister.
Unlike central vacuum systems that rely on permanent cloth filters, the powerful performance of VACUFLO will not decrease as dirt accumulates.
A VACUFLO system can be installed in any home, regardless of its size or design. The resulting cleaning performance is efficient, powerful and proven. VACUFLO simply transports all vacuumed dirt and dust particles through a network of in-wall tubing to the power unit for cyclonic separation and elimination. For maximum convenience and whole-house coverage, inlet valves are strategically placed throughout the home. To ensure the cleanest and quietest living space, the power unit is located in a remote area, typically the basement, garage, crawl space or utility room.
Inside the Numbers
VACUFLO® True Cyclonic® - Exclusive Sustained Cleaning Power
Powerful:
Sustained Cleaning Power is the ability to maintain Maximum Cleaning Power
over time. The very first time you vacuum with a traditional system that has a
bag or filter, there will be a measurable decrease in suction power and airflow
as dirt and dust begin to accumulate. The powerful VACUFLO system keeps working
– even as dirt collects in the dirt canister. VACUFLO True Cyclonic Power Units
provide Sustained Cleaning Power by separating dirt from the airflow--without
bags or filters. In fact, 96-98% of all dirt swept into the system is deposited
into the clear dirt canister. The remaining fine dust particles are exhausted
outside.
Dirt Vacuumed Average household
vacuums up to 16 oz. per week. (453.6 grams=16 oz.)
The powerful performance of the VACUFLO system does not decrease as dirt
accumulates in the dirt canister.
Convenient: No big, heavy equipment to lug around. A lightweight flexible hose, wands, and attachments are all you need. Just plug the hose into the nearest VACUFLO inlet for easy and convenient cleaning.
Cost-Efficient: For about the same price as a premium upright or canister, you can have all the conveniences and advantages of a VACUFLO system in your new home! Plus, an installed VACUFLO system adds to the resale value of your home. VACUFLO Built-In Central Vacuum: It's cleaner, more powerful and easier to use.
Selecting the Right Central Vacuum System Can Be Mind-Boggling
VACUFLO® gives you two powerful choices to meet all your requirements, the VACUFLO® True Cyclonic Power Units and VACUFLO® Filtered Cyclonic Power Units. VACUFLO's power units are engineered to match a home's square footage and are available for homes up to 18,000 sq. ft.
Each unit is designed for powerful and quiet operation. The power units are constructed of steel and finished with a tough powder-coating that resists chipping, rusting and scratches. Most models feature a clear dirt canister so you can see when it needs emptying.
Here's how to be sure the system you choose for your home will provide the performance and cleaning power you expect. The following facts will help you make the best buying decision.
Vacuum Performance Buzzwords
Below are the measurements manufacturers use to assess their vacuum system's performance. But, what does it all mean?
Amps:
represent the amount of electrical current consumed by the motor during use. The
implication is that the more electricity the motor uses, the more powerful it
is. This is not necessarily true. A motor that uses more electrical current does
not always mean the current is being used more efficiently.
Horsepower: measures the power of a motor. Horsepower can vary according to voltages, motor loads and temperature variances, and is not an accurate measure of how well a vacuum system will pick up dirt.
Sealed Suction: measures the maximum suction generated by the motor without airflow. Because vacuum cleaners rely on airflow to clean effectively, high sealed suction without airflow will not clean anything.
CFM: is the maximum volume of airflow measured in Cubic Feet Per Minute. Maximum CFM ratings occur when the vacuum system is operating without restrictions to airflow. In normal vacuuming conditions, hoses, cleaning attachments, bags, filters and accumulated dust create restrictions to airflow, reducing CFM. Therefore, CFM alone is not a good indicator of vacuum cleaning performance.
Measurements To Look For
Maximum Air Watts: represent the air power delivered by the power unit. CFM and Sealed Suction are combined to represent actual vacuum cleaning power. Maximum Air Watts is recognized by the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) as the best way to measure the actual cleaning power of a vacuum system.
Sustained Cleaning Power: is the ability to maintain Maximum Cleaning Power over time. The very first time you vacuum with a system that has a bag or filter, there will be a measurable decrease in suction power and airflow as dirt and dust begin to accumulate.
VACUFLO® True Cyclonic® Power Units provide Sustained Cleaning Power by separating the dirt from the airflow without bags and filters. In fact, 96-98% of all dirt swept into the system is deposited into the clear dirt canister. The remaining fine dust particles are exhausted outside. The powerful performance of the VACUFLO System does not decrease as dirt accumulates in the dirt canister.
VACUFLO® True Cyclonic® Power Units
VACUFLO's True Cyclonic Power Units require no bags or filters. Cyclonic Filtration Technology to deposit 96-98% of all vacuumed debris in the dirt canister with the remaining fine dust particles exhausted outside. The result is a cleaner home with cleaner air. The True Cyclonic systems maintain maximum cleaning efficiency with consistent power and airflow.
VACUFLO® True Cyclonic® Power Units carry a Limited Lifetime plus 3 Warranty.
*Max. Air Watts represent the air power delivered at the power unit. C.F.M. and Sealed Vacuum are combined to represent actual vacuum cleaning power. Max. Air Watts is recognized by the American Society of Testing and Materials ( ASTM) as the best way to measure the actual cleaning power of a vacuum system.
The 466Q and 566Q are highly recommended by Air & Water Solutions, Inc.
VACUFLO® Filtered Cyclonic® Units
VACUFLO's Filtered Cyclonic units use Cyclonic Filtration Technology to deposit 96-98% of all vacuumed debris in the dirt canister. The remaining fine dust particles are caught in the high-performance filter cartridge which needs replaced only once per year. The result is a cleaner home with cleaner air for the homeowner. Outdoor venting is optional for VACUFLO Filtered Cyclonic units.
VACUFLO® Filtered Cyclonic® Units carry a Limited Lifetime plus 1 Warranty.
