Kinetico Quadra-Flo Filter/Softener w/ ceramic (Macrolite™) & Carbon/Softener

Non-Electric: Reliable - No timers or computers to set, adjust or replace.
Metered, Demand Operated: Unlimited supply of clean, soft water. Eliminates guesswork, water and salt waste and hard water breakthrough.
Media Choices: Macrolite™ is Kinetico's exclusive ceramic filtration media developed in conjunction with 3M filters oxidized iron, particulate matter and other contaminants down to five micron. Carbon removes chlorine and objectionable odors for fresher water.
Quad Tank Design: Four separate tanks provide filtered, conditioned water, 24 hours a day, even during regeneration. When one set of tanks is exhausted, the other is activated to continue softening and filtering your water. The exhausted tanks are cleaned with the filtered, conditioned water produced by the on-line tanks for optimum results.
Quadra-Flo™ Maximum Filtration: All filtering and softening tanks are in service simultaneously to ensure higher quality water, prolong the life of the system and increase flow.
High Flow Rate: Provides high, efficient flow rates. Multiple units can be manifolded together for increased flows.
Multiple Applications: This is unit is ideal for many applications including both residential and commercial. Can be used on city or well water.
Outstanding Warranty: Dependability and peace of mind.
Unit Size: 46” H x 17” W x 8” D ~~~ Brine Drum Size: 18” Diameter x 35” H (Spacesaver size available)
Kinetico Quadra-Flo Filter/Filter

Non-Electric: Reliable - No timers or computers to set, adjust or replace.
Metered, Demand Operated: Unlimited supply of clean, soft water. Eliminates guesswork, water and salt waste and hard water breakthrough.
Quad Tank System: Combines two systems in one. Continuous availability if clean dechlorinated, filtered water. Saves money and space. Simplifies maintenance.
Effective Filtration: Utilizes exclusive ceramic media. Filters iron and particulate matter from water.
Exclusive Macrolite™ Ceramic Media: Filters fine particles better than traditional media and flushes clean at lower backwash rates. Provides better filtering results and saves water.
Efficient Carbon Bed: Eliminates taste, odor and chlorine concerns.
Parallel Service Flow: All tanks are in service simultaneously. Increases contact time with filtration media. Assures top performance. Increase efficiency and flow rate.
Outstanding Warranty: Dependability and peace of mind.
Kinetico Para-Flo™ Backwashing Filters

Non-Electric: Reliable - No timers or computers to set, adjust or replace. Kinetico Para-Flo systems function without using electricity, instead using the force of moving water to automatically switch from cycle to cycle.
Para-Flo™ Dual Filtration: Both filtering tanks are in service simultaneously to ensure higher quality water, prolong the life of the system and increase flow.
Metered, Demand Backwash: Kinetico systems measure your water use and backwash only when necessary to save money and conserve water. Because other systems on the market have only have one filtering tank, they cannot clean themselves and continue to filter your water at the same time. This makes them less efficient and more expensive to operate.
Countercurrent Backwashing: A Kinetico Backwashing Filter cleans itself more efficiently by reversing the flow of water through the system during backwash. Trapped contaminants are easier to remove and are flushed from the system to prepare it for service.
Media Choices Customize your whole-house filter with the media that meets your specific need. Choose from Macrolite™ (Ceramic), Syntrex™, Carbon, Calcite, Filter Ag, and Birm.
Outstanding Warranty: Dependability and peace of mind.
Macrolite™ - Kinetico’s exclusive ceramic filtration media developed in conjunction with 3M filters oxidized iron, particulate matter and other contaminants down to five micron.
Syntrex™ - Kinetico’s exclusive floating filtration media filters oxidized iron, particulate matter and other contaminants down to 10 micron. Because it floats, Syntrex uses the force of gravity during backwash to help flush away accumulated contaminants from the media bed. The result is higher system efficiency with a reduction of water use by as much as 60 percent!
Carbon - Removes chlorine and objectionable odors for fresher water.
Calcite - Raises pH to neutralize water and eliminate acid water problems.
Filter-Ag - Removes dirt, sediment and other suspended matter down to 20 micron.
Birm - Oxidizes and removes iron and manganese depending upon specific water chemistry.

intestinal protozoa such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.
Feature Benefit
|
LP High Output lamp technology |
Higher UV Output for better disinfection, Smaller reactor chambers save space and make installation easier |
|
Unique Sizing System Model D treats from 3 to 14 GPM |
Allows the customer to select the unit based on the UV dose required depending on the UV transmittance, flow rate, target organism and specific applicable regulations. |
|
User Interface |
Elapsed time meter tells the user how long the lamp has been in service. Audio and visual alarms tell the customer if there is a problem with the operation of the unit. A Service reminder lets the user know when the lamp needs to be changed. On "PLUS" models the sensor continuously monitors the UV intensity to ensure proper disinfection and goes into alarm if these conditions fall below proper operating levels. The LED readout also provides a diagnostic output that tells the user what the source of the failure is. |
|
Lamp/Sleeve Combination |
Lamp and sleeve remove from the reactor chamber as one piece ensuring the user is aware of any build up of minerals on the sleeve that may interfere with the proper UV dose being delivered to the water. Lamp is easily removed and replaced for annual maintenance. |
|
Auto-ranging electronic power supply |
More energy efficient to use less electricity Withstands fluctuations in voltage that can cause low UV output and damage to the lamp. Automatically adjusts to the input voltage and frequency to allow use of multiple global power grids. |
|
Dry Contacts (Remote Options Cord is optional) |
Provide a signal for a solenoid valve or remote alarm. The solenoid valve is used to protect the user from using water if the lamp is not operating properly. If the lamp burns out the supply of water is automatically stopped. |
|
Snap-on Lamp Harness - Safety |
Prevents the harness from accidentally being disconnected. Ensures that the lamp is disconnected before it is removed from the reactor chamber to prevent damage to eyes and skin from the UV light. |
